Christian Education

Christian education is an important focus at Grace, and we provide many opportunities for people of all ages on Sundays, during the week, and throughout the year.

Sunday School – 9:45 am on Sundays

Classes are offered for children 3 years old through 6th grade. The curriculum in these classes is Firelight II’s rotation format published by Augsburg Fortress.

The confirmation class made up of 7th and 8th graders uses Here We Stand, from Augsburg Fortress, as the program of study.

Senior High students in grades 9 through 12 also use Here We Stand materials.

Vacation Bible School – One week in the summer

VBS meets the last week in July each summer from 9:00 am to noon, and is open to youth 3 years old through 6th grade. Youth older than 6th grade may volunteer as helpers.  Information on the theme, exact dates, and the registration form for 2009 will be available on this website in April.

Adult Forum – 9:45 am on Sundays

This adult study group focuses on topics of interest, such as issues in the church-at-large, studies of the confessions of the Lutheran church, and current issues in society.

Men's Bible Study  - TGIF at 6:30am on Fridays!  Coffee, bagels are served in the Fellowship Hall at Grace

Women's Saturday Morning Breakfast & Bible Study - 1st & 3rd Saturdays at 9:00am. In homes. 

Women's Monday Morning (Welca) Bible Study - 2nd & 4th Mondays of the month at 10:00am in the chapel at Grace. 

Monday Morning Bible Study - 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month at 10:00am.  January 18th, 2010 - study of Daniel begins.  Everyone is welcome.  In the Fellowship Hall at Grace.

Look for evening studies popping up throughout the year!
