Youth Ministry Visioning Team

**No meeting for December 16th**

This team prayerfully determines where the youth group should head and what it should look like both in the near future and for the long haul. The first meeting was in October. Currently we are meeting on the first and third wednesday at 6:30pm. So far we developed our team's mission statement (the why we exist) and our vision statement (the how we exist) our core bible verse, and the the format of youth group meetings.

Our mission is to create and nurture a foundation for the youth to provide a lasting legacy through the Holy Spirit's guidance.

We vision to accomplish this through prayer, bible study, structure, open and honest conversation, open mindedness, and being part of a greater community.

We have also adopted this Bible verse to strengthen and unite us in our mission and vision:

Jeremiah 29:11-13

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."
